Tia Rosa's Ranch

Today Patti's Family, Mommy and Daddy Alvarado and I spent the after noon at Tia Rosa's Squaw Vally Ranch. It is only 45-50 minutes from our house and it is so peaceful. I was very excited when we spotted a humming bird feeding. It is only the second time I have ever seen one. We also saw a woodpecker. It looked like Woody Wood Pecker with red feathers and everything!

Eliseo had a fun playing with the rocks, riding Ella and playing in Ella's water bowl. I guess Eliseo was hot because he dipped his head in the bowl.

Every guest that visits Tia Rosa and Mary paints a rock.
Then Mary glazes it and displays it outside on a stone wall.
What an awesome idea!

Thank you Tia Rosa and Mary for welcoming us into your cozy home. It was fun!
And next time Fernando wants to come and paint his own rock.

You will love it Handsome. There are tons of cool wild life and landscapes to take pictures of.

It's a nice spot to live. I would prefer to live in the mountains, but they have scary stories of having to deal with bugs, snakes, and wild animals... so I don't know if I'd like that. Hopefully we will move to central CA soon. Oakhurst is good and a lot closer to Daddy & Mommy :-)... someday.
Our little guy is so silly, he loves the water... most of the time.

It's cool.... but I think too far from human beings.... I think if anything that place is good for going away for a retreat and focus on Christ for days.... other then that I would go insane. Imagine you go to the store and buy egss, milk and butter.... end up forgetting to get the butter... >; FORGET THAT... I'm not going back to the stinkin STORE !!!

Yeah... uhhh that comment about moving to Oakhurst.... yeah.... uuhhh NOT happening anytime soon unless LOTTO is won.

Pata, I just read Carlos' post (the anonymous one). I guess not.

Oakhurst is similar to Fresno, but with trees. The store isn't 100 miles away, it's just down the street depending on where you live. As for when we're moving, I'm hoping in 5 years, but not sure exactly when or where. Would like to move closer to Dad & Mom.

Fernando is actually looking into the coast area near Pismo. Elisa and Louis were looking over there this last week for a possible place to move. So it got Fernando's wheels turning. We shall see...

I had a great time visiting with you also. Hey, Anonymous - why would you forget the butter? There is a grocery store and a couple of restaurants - Fresno is 30 minutes, Dinuba, Reedley, Sanger are about 20 minutes. However, you are right, it is a getaway for me.
